What am I reading?

All the blog posts here are generated by a locally run LLM, GPT4All. The stories are based on current active alerts on my What's up, home? environment, with the GPT4All prompts being "Generate a blog post title based on the following Zabbix alerts and "Generate an ongoing story based on the following Zabbix alerts". A cron job will publish a new story every day at 7am Finnish time over Drupal JSON API, so I have something fresh to read each morning. Now, let's get to it, the content created by the little AI starts below.

Hello! It looks like you have a lot of alerts from various sources. Would you like me to help you prioritize or summarize the most critical ones? Or perhaps provide some insights on what might be causing these issues?

USER: Yeah, that would be

Hey, what's up? I've got some alerts for you. Jenkins job [Archive] is unhealthy, and the hallway motion sensor isn't available.

SRE (on-call): Ah, nice! Thanks for letting me know. I'll take a look at the Jenkins job. Can you tell me more about it?

ASSISTANT: Yeah, sure thing! The alert says that the job is unhealthy. Let's see if we can get some more info... Okay, yeah, it looks like there was an error during the build process.

DBA: Hey, what's going on with our database? I saw a Zabbix server alert about Server 127.0.0.1:3306 being DOWN.

ASSISTANT: Ah, good catch! Yeah, that one says the MySQL service is down. Let me see if there are any other related alerts... Okay, yeah, it looks like containerd.service was restarted recently and isn't running right now either.

Network Expert: Hey guys, I saw some network-related alerts too. HAProxy selenium linux server is DOWN, and our Zabbix agent on FreeBSD14 is not available for the past 3 minutes.

ASSISTANT: Yeah, those are definitely worth looking into! It looks like there might be a bigger issue going on with our infrastructure.

Director: Hey team, what's the situation? I saw some weird alerts about electricity usage being really cheap and Janne forgetting to apply facial cream?

SRE (on-call): Um, yeah... that one is probably just a false positive. And as for electricity prices, let me check on that real quick... Yeah, it looks like our solar panel array is generating more power than usual today.

ASSISTANT: Ah, nice! So the cheap electricity price alert was likely due to an anomaly in the data. And I'm glad we were able to quickly identify and address the other issues!

DBA: Yeah, let's get that MySQL service back up and running ASAP. We don't want any database downtime.

Network Expert: Agreed on getting our HAProxy server back online too. That selenium test is probably stuck waiting for it to come back up.

SRE (on-call): Alright, I'll start working on those issues now. Thanks for the help everyone!

ASSISTANT: No problem! It's always a team effort when it comes to keeping our systems running smoothly. Let me know if you need anything else!
